Lewisville

1. Trucare Medical Clinic opens

A new nonprofit clinic, Trucare Medical Clinic, is now operating in Lewisville.

The clinic serves the uninsured and underinsured populations, clinic board member Jarvis Boyd, said in an emailed statement, with primary care services including care for respiratory infections, hypertension management and diabetes care.

2. Olimpia Splendid USA now open

Olimpia Splendid USA opened an office/showroom in September in Lewisville.

The business sells portable and wall mount heating and cooling systems, which are manufactured in Italy.

“We design and manufacture our comfort products with a focus on being environmentally friendly, industry leading technologies, best-in-class efficiencies and providing innovative solutions with unique aesthetics,” Atriana Rupnow, Olimpia Splendid USA sales and marketing manager, said in an email.


Coppell

3. Dogtopia to open in 2025

Dogtopia is set to open early February in Coppell, according to a company representative.

Community Impact previously reported this location was slated to open in October. The company’s website states the business offers dog daycare, boarding and spa services for dogs of all ages.


4. True Education coming soon

The Frisco-based tutoring service True Education is opening a location in Coppell, according to filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

True Education offers services to improve K-12 students’ SAT, PSAT and ACT scores as well as GPAs and other test scores, according to its website. Renovation of the 1,500-square-foot space in Magnolia Village is slated to begin Nov. 30 with a completion date of February 2025 at an estimated cost of $70,000, according to the filing.

5. Coppell ATA Martial Arts renovations


A Coppell martial arts studio, Coppell ATA Martial Arts, is undergoing renovations.

During the renovations, Coppell ATA Martial Arts relocated to the Blue Sky Sports Center in The Colony, an employee said. The business is expected to reopen in its Coppell space around Dec. 1.

Upgrades to the interior of the business include new paint, updated furniture and a floor replacement, an employee said. Mats used for the gym area also received a deep cleaning.
