Voodoo Doughnut, a famous Portland-based doughnut company, is planning to open its first Dallas location in Lower Greenville.

The new shop, located at 1806 Greenville Ave., Ste. 120, is expected to open in 2023, but an opening date has not been announced. Planning documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation estimate that the 3,200-square-foot space will be fully renovated by the end of August, but the company did not confirm that timeline.

Voodoo Doughnut is famous for its unique flavors, such as its Bacon Maple Bar, a bar doughnut with maple frosting and bacon, and its Memphis Mafia, a fried doughnut with banana chunks and cinnamon topped with chocolate chips, peanuts, and chocolate and peanut butter drizzle. The company offers more than 50 doughnut varieties, including glazed, jelly and cake doughnuts.

Voodoo Doughnut operates in Oregon, Colorado, Texas, California, Washington and Florida. The Lower Greenville shop will be the company’s eighth Texas location, according to the company website. www.voodoodoughnut.com
