Dallas-based Ascension Coffee is set to open its “most unique location yet” in the Casa Linda neighborhood.
Giving a former community gathering place new life, plans to open an Ascension Coffee concept Feb. 18 were announced for 9353 Garland Road in the former White Rock Community Chapel. According to the company’s Facebook page, it intends to incorporate elements that are reminiscent of the building’s past, including beamed ceilings, arched windows and “ornate chandeliers.”
Ascension’s menu includes a variety of coffee and tea drinks, wines, and food items, such as sandwiches, salads and bowls. The new location will be the seventh for Ascension, which has others in Dallas, Addison, Coppell, Frisco and Fort Worth.
