Certain city services will be unavailable to Dallas residents July 4.

Water utilities administration and customer services will be closed for the holiday, an email from the city stated. In addition, Dallas Park and Recreation Department administrative offices, recreation centers and maintenance facilities will be closed.

Courts and detention services will also be unavailable in observance of Independence Day.

Garbage and recycling collection will be serviced as scheduled July 4, according to the city. Dallas Animal Services will also be open on the holiday.
