H-E-B is planning to open two new locations of its low-price store Joe V’s Smart Shop in Dallas, including one in the east Dallas area.

The new locations will be the first Joe V’s stores outside of the Houston area, where it was founded in 2010 and has nine locations. The east Dallas store is expected to open in spring 2025 at 5204 S. Buckner Blvd., according to a company news release.

Joe V’s Smart Shop has an “innovative price format” that delivers “community-focused products” at low prices, according to the news release.

H-E-B opened a store in Frisco in September and plans to break ground on a second Frisco store this month. The company opened a store in Plano in November. www.heb.com
