A 269-unit apartment complex was approved for development by the Fort Worth City Council during the Aug. 12 meeting.

The development is called Circle Park Apartments at 15836 Championship Parkway, which is at the corner of Championship Parkway and Outlet Boulevard, according to documents.

The apartment complex will be situated between two other multi-family housing complexes: Bexley Champions Circle and Churchill at Champions Circle. Directly east of the location is Tanger Outlets Fort Worth.

The details

According to documents, the apartment complex will be a four-story development that will be gated with a single entry from Outlet Boulevard. There will be a clubhouse with amenities such as a pool and grill, and the complex will also have a small dog park, according to a site plan presented to council.


The background

The apartments will be constructed on 6.74 acres, which is currently a vacant lot. Part of the rezoning was from a heavy industrial zone to a planned development zone.

As part of the rezoning, three waivers were approved:
  • Maximum units per acre
  • Minimum front yard setback
  • Required open space of 35%
O&G Partners, based in Fort Worth, is the owner of the property and Gray Dove Investments from Babcock Ranch, Florida, is listed as the developer in city documents.
