Keller Parks and Recreation will host its fourth Annual Keller Lights on July 3 at Keller Town Hall.

The event will run from 4 to 10 p.m. and ends with a 15-minute firework show, according to a news release.

Festivities start at 4 p.m. with a performance from the Keller Area Youth Jazz Orchestra at Keller Town Hall.

Other events and times:
  • 5:30-7:15 p.m., Rockstrocity, a band that plays classic rock and bagpipes
  • 7:15-7:30 p.m., hot dog eating contest
  • 7:30-9:30 p.m., The Hattons band performs
  • 9:30-9:40 p.m., Trumpet soloist, comments from city council and mayor
  • 9:45 p.m., fireworks

Food trucks and drink vendors will be on-site, but attendees may bring their own food and drinks, however, glass is not allowed in the event area, according to a news release. The event will allow only service animals as well.

Shuttle parking will be available at Life.Church, located at 1075 Keller Parkway, and the Keller ISD Athletics Complex, located at 601 Pate Orr Road North from 3 to 11 p.m.

According to a city official, the possession and shooting of fireworks within the city limit is illegal. Residents can call the non-emergency dispatch number at 817-743-4522 to report violations.
