Two candidates are running for Keller City Council, Place 6
Residents can vote for the candidate to take the position during the upcoming May 2 election. The Place 6 race is one of four Keller City Council member positions up for election this year.

Early voting for the May 2 election will start April 20 and run through April 28. The last day to register to vote is April 2.
Why are you running for office?
I’m running because I want our city to be in the news for how we’re tackling issues facing the folks living here, not for fighting culture wars from the dais. I want a city that prioritizes community and provides the best opportunities and services for every family living here.
What are the biggest challenges facing the city?
Preparing for the 2030 census. If we hit 50,000 population, we will be responsible for the major roads running through the city. Ensuring that the public servants, especially public safety professionals, are being adequately compensated for the high quality of work they provide.
How do you plan to address these issues?
I will work with council members and city staff to budget now to meet the challenges of the 2030 census without being blind-sided, find creative ways to increase our tax base. encourage local entrepreneurship and investment. attract niche businesses to relocate to our city and make shopping locally easier.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
Along with the above plans to address our biggest challenges, we need to ensure that Keller City Council remains a politically neutral, non-partisan body. The job of council is to have the best interests of every citizen at heart, not to enforce a partisan agenda.

Why are you running for office?
I’m a Keller dad who cares deeply about our community. As a longtime resident, Army veteran, Aggie and active community member, I believe in serving others and protecting what makes Keller strong. Safe neighborhoods, family-friendly character, great parks and vibrant local businesses make Keller special.
What are the biggest challenges facing the city?
Keller is a great place to raise a family or retire, and with that comes the need for dependable roads and utilities, strong police and fire and thoughtful planning. Managing these needs responsibly while preserving our small-town feel, strong values and quality of life is one of our biggest challenges.
How do you plan to address these issues?
This starts with careful budgeting, long-range planning, and listening to residents. That means supporting our first responders, ensuring roads and utilities keep up with demand, making thoughtful decisions that protect Keller’s neighborhoods, supporting local businesses and preserving the small-town character residents value.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
Keller is a special place people are proud to call home. My priorities are maintaining strong public safety, keeping taxes low, ensuring dependable infrastructure, supporting local businesses and protecting the small-town, family-centered character that draws so many families here.
