Why are you running for office?
I’m running to put working families back at the center of state government. Texas deserves leaders who solve problems, not create them, and who believe hard work should pay off, public classrooms should be funded and service to our communities should be honored, not politicized.
What are the biggest challenges facing this district?
Working people are feeling the squeeze. From grocery prices to the cost of healthcare, housing, and even predatory tollway fees just to get to work, families are paying more and getting less. Texans are doing their part. It's time our government did its part too.
How do you plan to address these issues?
By putting people before politics to fully fund public education, expanding access to healthcare, and strengthening our local economy. I’ll work with Republicans or Democrats who share a respect for the rule of law, facts, and basic decency. Texans deserve leaders grounded in truth, not political games.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
Invest in our schools and teachers. Protect veterans’ benefits and expand job opportunities. Lower costs for working families by tackling property taxes, prescription drug prices, and health care costs. Strengthen local infrastructure and make sure every Texan has a fair shot to build a stable, secure future.
Why are you running for office?
I believe public service is a duty. I’m not a career politician, I'm a battle-tested conservative that gets results. I have dedicated over 30 years of my life to championing conservative governance and feel called to take this experience to serve in the Texas Senate.
What are the biggest challenges facing this district?
Public safety, border security and property tax relief. It is the responsibility of the government to keep its people safe and our border secure. Rising property taxes are pricing hardworking Texans out of their homes. We must do everything in our power to support our law enforcement and ensure meaningful property tax reform.
How do you plan to address these issues?
I will lead the charge on bail reform, ensure our law enforcement has all the tools they need to do their jobs, and support and fortify Operation Lonestar. I will work to increase the homestead exemption, expand compression and hold tax appraisal districts accountable for meaningful property tax relief solutions.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
If elected, I will continue to fight for life, border security, the second amendment, property tax reform, economic development and public safety. All these issues affect us every day as Texans and Senate District 9 deserves someone who will champion these issues in the legislature.
Why are you running for office?
I’m running for the Texas Senate to defend our values—cut property taxes, secure the border, strengthen education and keep government accountable to the people of North Texas.
What are the biggest challenges facing this district?
Delivering lasting property tax relief, strengthening and supporting public education, and improving and investing in critical infrastructure to keep pace with rapid growth.
How do you plan to address these issues?
By reforming the property tax system, empowering local schools and teachers and prioritizing smart infrastructure investment without growing government waste.
What would your top priorities be if you are elected?
Secure the border, deliver real property tax relief, strengthen education and ensure North Texas has the infrastructure to thrive for generations.
