Officials with Keller ISD certified the results from the May 3 election May 14, which saw two new faces join the board and one incumbent retain her position.
Chelsea Kelly was voted by Keller residents to remain as the Place 3 Trustee, while Randy Campbell and Jennifer Erickson were newly elected to the Place 1 and Place 2 positions, respectively.
Campbell takes the place of Micah Young, who did not run for reelection and Erickson ousted Joni Smith as the Place 2 Trustee.The results from incumbent Tag Green’s win for Keller City Council, Place 4, were ratified during the council’s meeting May 14 after he defeated opponent Teresa Ramirez during the May 3 election.The Place 4 position and mayor results for Fort Worth City Council were certified May 13, officially naming Mattie Parker as city mayor and Charlie Lauersdorf as the seat holder for Council District 4.
This win marks Parker’s third term as mayor and Lauersdorf’s second term with District 4.Just one seat was contested in Northwest ISD, with newcomers Jeff Dearing and Joe Washam vying for the position. Incumbent Anne Simpson had served on the board since 2013 and did not seek reelection.
Votes were canvassed during a special meeting May 13 to formally certify election results.
