The Scoop N Scootery started as a food truck that traveled from Florida to Boston, according to its website. Business founder Austin Crittenden said he saw a need for the business when he was in college.
“At that time, there was no UberEats, no DoorDash,” Crittenden said. “Ice cream delivery didn’t exist. I have to make this happen.”
The business now has seven locations, with the Fort Worth location to be the first away from the East Coast. Other locations are in Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey and Florida.
