Editor's note: The original post has been edited to clarify that The 206, the food hall within which Soul Fire operates, will remain open as the Soul Fire brand leaves and relocates.

Soul Fire Brewing Co. is leaving its location within The 206 in Roanoke.

Katrina and James Brown brought the brewery to Roanoke in September 2019, according to previous reporting.

A Facebook post made by the company stated that Soul Fire's last day helming the brewery will be Nov. 30.

Katrina Brown said the couple is looking for a new location for the Soul Fire brand and hopes to reopen.

The 206 will continue operating as a brewery and food hall, but the brewery portion is changing ownership and will receive a new, yet-to-be-determined name.

Soul Fire Brewing Co. brews craft beer, such as lagers, stouts, ciders, Berliner Weisse, American porter and American pale wheat beers, according to its website.

The 206 has a patio, a taproom, a beer garden and an indoor stage for live music and events. The brewery offers events such as bingo nights and karaoke nights, according to the company’s Facebook page.

The Cleburne location is not impacted and will remain open, Katrina Brown said.
