The Texas-based Cajun restaurant, Te’jun, hosted a grand opening event Oct. 7 for the community in Keller.

The details

Te’jun Texas Cajun offers seafood combos and plates with shrimp, crab, crawfish, corn and potatoes, according to its menu. The restaurant also offers build-your-own-salad options with chicken tenders or grilled shrimp.

Co-owner Tammy Reid said many community members assisted in the opening process for Te’jun.

“This has been a long and arduous process,” she said. “It was all worth it. We are thankful for being [in Keller] and look forward to many, many years of being in this beautiful community and this beautiful building.”


The restaurant is located near the Bourland Road pond and has a pier with a children's outdoor play area where people can feed the fish.

The backstory

The location for Te’jun was first approved by Keller City Council in 2023. Te’jun owners Joe and Tammy Reid broke ground for the restaurant in 2024. The restaurant had its soft opening in August after city officials moved up dredging work for the nearby pond so the restaurant could open.

The Keller location is one of four restaurant locations. The other locations are located south of Dallas in Red Oak, Fairfield and Robinson.
