What’s on the menu
Te’jun Texas Cajun offers seafood combos and plates with shrimp, crab, crawfish, corn and potatoes, according to its website.
The Keller location also has the Snapper Classic, a new fish plate that serves a red snapper filet over rice with the restaurant’s Cajun cream sauce, according to a restaurant newsletter. Te’jun’s owners are also planning to add salads to the menu in the coming weeks, starting at $6.99.
A restaurant spokesperson previously told Community Impact the restaurant will have a grand opening event Oct. 7. The event is open to the public and will include live music and a balloon artist, according to a social media update.
The backstory
The location for Te’jun Texas Cajun was first approved by Keller City Council March 21, 2023, according to previous Community Impact reporting. Te’jun owners Joe and Tammy Reid broke ground for the restaurant Nov. 7, 2024.
City officials moved up dredging work for the Bourland Road pond so the restaurant could open this summer, according to previous reporting. The Keller location has a pier over the pond with a kids outdoor play area where people can feed the fish.
