Lone Star Cafe, a family-owned breakfast, lunch and brunch spot, is bringing its made-from-scratch menu to Keller’s Center Stage development in February, according to a city of Keller news release.

The gist

Lone Star Cafe is owned by Phil Doko. The restaurant’s Facebook page states Doko’s family has been in the restaurant industry for more than 40 years and has 15 restaurants, including Lone Star Cafe in Arlington.

Menu items include breakfast skillets, French toast, waffles, wraps, burgers and sandwiches.

The Center Stage Planned Development was approved in January 2020 by the Keller city council as a 38-acre mixed-use development that has a variety of residential and commercial uses in a phased approach.

While The Lyric, an apartment complex with studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments is the largest component of the development so far, several new commercial tenants have moved in recently, including Airys Family Dentistry, Hungry Howie’s Pizza and Rumble Boxing.
