What happened
The winery announced on social media and its website that it was closing permanently Nov. 29.
"After five incredible years, we have closed our doors," Two Brothers Winery's website now reads. "This journey has been an absolute blast, and we are so deeply grateful for the love and support this community has shown us."
The closing comes five years to the date after the winery opened in 2019.
The backstory
Two Brothers Winery was started by brothers Brian and Eddie Kirkwood and their respective spouses, Stephanie and Donna.
The wine bar offered a variety of wines that were made onsite from grapes that came from Napa Valley, California. Along with Texas-made wines, Two Brothers Winery's menu included charcuterie and cheese boards, flatbreads and small plates.
The space often held live music and sold local goods such as honey, candles and bakery items.
