Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar will open its 10th location in Alliance Town Center this fall, complete with a 9,000-square-foot interior space and the ability to accommodate more than 350 diners.

The details

A news release states that Whiskey Cake, which was founded in Plano in 2010, serves classic American comfort food and features farm-to-kitchen dishes made from scratch. Some menu items include:
  • Goat cheese fondue and flash-fried brussel sprouts
  • Rotisserie farm bird and tavern burger
  • Whiskey cake dessert—a sticky toffee cake topped with spiced pecans and house-made vanilla whipped cream
According to the release, the Alliance Town Center location will feature three private event spaces and a temperature-controlled patio for year-round outdoor seating. Whiskey Cake is also known for its award-winning brunch—available on Saturdays and Sundays—and a craft cocktail program that features house-made syrups and fresh-squeezed juices made from many items grown on-site in the garden.

Quote of note

"Whiskey Cake is a modern take on an American tavern," CEO Jeff Carcara said in the release. "We create everything on our menu in-house and use the best local ingredients available. Our garden-to-glass cocktails are unique twists on classics, and the atmosphere is high-energy and always fun. We can’t wait to bring this experience to the Alliance community."
