Construction is underway in many parts of Keller.

According to a recent city Facebook post, here's an updated look at some frequently discussed local properties that are undergoing renovations:

1. Keller Parkway and Bourland Road (northwest corner): The building at 541 Keller Parkway will be Te'Jun The Texas Cajun, a new seafood restaurant. Rachel Reynolds, communication and public engagement manager with the City of Keller, said via email the updated opening date is set for early July.

For those curious about the large bags at the nearby pond, they are part of a city dredging project.

Reynolds said the dredging project was approved for up to $700,000. She added there are a few variables on the cost of the project, such as how quickly the bags are drying out and whether city staff decides to transport the bags wet or dry.

2. Anita Avenue (south of Keller Parkway): Behind Bank OZK at 640 Keller Parkway, a multi-tenant building is under construction, with a medical imaging office as the anchor tenant.

3. Rufe Snow Drive and Rapp Road (southwest corner): Infrastructure work is complete at Bella Casa, a 10.9-acre development planned for 31 homes. Housing construction is expected to begin soon. The Keller City Council approved the development April 16, 2024, according to previous Community Impact reporting. 4. Rufe Snow Drive and Rapp Road (southeast corner): Construction has commenced at Beverly Grove, a 33-home development on 11.38 acres approved by City Council in 2021. According to previous Community Impact reporting, changes to the development were unanimously denied by council Oct. 15, 2024, include:
  • Allowing for maximum lot coverage of 50% for main buildings and 60% for other buildings, driveways and parking
