Three Hawaiian Falls water parks, including the Roanoke location, were sold to Ripley Entertainment, the parent company of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

The details

According to an Aug. 26 announcement from Hawaiian Falls, the three locations in Roanoke, Waco and Mansfield are all part of the acquisition.

The parks still will be open on weekends and certain dates through mid-September, according to Hawaiian Falls.

“Our mission at Hawaiian Falls has always been to bring that Aloha Spirit to the communities and families we proudly serve, and we believe this exciting news will allow us to take that Aloha Spirit to the next level,” the post states.

Diving deeper

There will be no change for 2025 and 2026 season pass holders. With the acquisition, 2026 Hawaiian Falls season ticket holders will have one free admission to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! theme park in Grand Prairie, according to the release.

Hawaiian Falls will also be adding new attractions and updates to its parks in the upcoming months to fit the new ownership, the post states.

The Roanoke water park opened in 2011 and has a variety of water slides, a lazy river, water rides, cabanas and amenities such as water tubes and lockers, according to previous reporting.
