The Kroger Marketplace off Beach Street in Fort Worth held a grand re-opening June 4, celebrating its expanded footprint with a ribbon-cutting, check presentation and product samples.

What happened?

Kroger Dallas Division representatives were on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the store. A check for $1,000 was presented to Katie Johnston, the CEO of Community Storehouse, as part of Kroger’s Zero Hunger | Zero Waste social and environmental impact plan.

Guests received samples throughout the store and were able to take photos with Captain, the Texas Rangers mascot.

The updated Kroger underwent a renovation that includes new décor; updates to the layout and selections in the bakery, service deli, produce, floral and meat/seafood sections; updated grocery aisles; and the addition of new local, natural and healthy selections.
