D1 Training, which has been named one of the top 30 gyms in America by Men’s Health and is known for producing over 100 NFL Draft picks, is opening a new location in the Alliance area of Fort Worth.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 3 p.m., followed by an open house throughout the weekend that will feature live training demos; youth and adult fitness challenges; raffle prizes; meet and greets with local business vendors; giveaways and family-friendly activities, according to a company news release.

D1 Training has gained national recognition and is backed by high-profile athletes, including:
  • NBA player Chris Paul
  • Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow
  • Former NFL players Kylie Fitts and Jordan Gay
The news release states the D1 Training Alliance Town Center location will be led by Colbey Ryan, a former athlete who earned a college baseball scholarship out of Boswell High School.

The news release states D1 Training utilizes the five core tenets of athletic-based training: dynamic warm-up, performance, strength program, core and conditioning and cool down. Four age-based programs are offered, including:
  • Rookie - ages 7-11
  • Developmental - ages 12-14
  • Prep - ages 15-18
  • D1 Adult
Outside of group workouts, D1 Training offers group, semi-private and one-on-one training.
