Texas-based startup Aerolane, which specializes in developing advanced air technologies and flight concepts, is establishing a flight operations headquarters at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

The new location will serve as a crucial testing site for Aerolane's ongoing FAA supplemental type certification process. Additionally, it will support the launch of Aerolane's first Aerocart cargo glider system for commercial service later this year, according to a news release.
Aerolane, the pioneer of the patented Aerocart technology, announced a series of autonomous towed cargo glider systems that can increase the capacity of existing planes with only a slight increase in fuel consumption.
