Real estate development company Hillwood announced Oct. 8 the construction of Alliance Westport 24, a 1.1 million-square-foot Class A speculative industrial building. The facility will be part of Hillwood’s AllianceTexas community, a 27,000-acre master-planned, mixed-use development, which celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2024.

The details

According to a company news release, the building will have direct access to FM-156 and the BNSF Railway Alliance Intermodal Facility, one of its largest intermodal hubs nationwide. Some notable features include:
  • 190-foot truck courts
  • On-site infrastructure for future electric car and truck charging stations
  • Expandable to include 704 on-site trailer parking spaces, the highest amount in the market
  • LED warehouse lighting

The news release states the development of Alliance Westport 24 follows the announcement of Alliance Westport 14 in May. Alliance Westport 14 is a nearly 800,000-square-foot speculative industrial building set to be completed in June 2025. The two projects are part of Hillwood officials' plan to develop 3.5 million square feet of industrial facilities across AllianceTexas with next-generation capabilities.

Alliance Westport 24 will break ground in October 2024 and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to the news release.
