Plans are underway to open a Chewy Vet Care in the Alliance area of Fort Worth, a media spokesperson for Chewy confirmed to Community Impact in an email.

The clinic will offer services such as routine appointments, urgent care treatments and surgery, according to Chewy’s website.

According to planning documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a $400,000 renovation is underway for space in the Alliance Town Center shopping center, near H-E-B. Construction is slated to start Oct. 17 with an estimated completion date of April 15 for the 3,496-square-foot space.

Chewy’s is also opening a location in McKinney next year.




Chewy announced the launch of its first veterinary practices in December 2023. The first practice opened in Florida, followed by locations in Colorado and Georgia.
