The backstory
According to the news release, Buket, originally from Turkey and contracted by the U.S. Air Force in Izmir, met Shane during his overseas military assignment. Following his military tour, the couple decided to relocate to Texas, where they started their family 12 years ago. Buket quickly advanced from a cashier role to management, eventually becoming an optician, when she met Krystal Gunn, a native Texan and experienced optical manager, forming a strong friendship.
With their shared business backgrounds and a mutual commitment to community support, the trio began seeking a new opportunity, ultimately choosing to partner in owning a franchise. According to the news release, the decision to join The Little Gym was solidified as their children attended and thrived in the engaging environment.

According to the news release, The Little Gym of Roanoke’s classes will utilize movement-based learning and imaginative play to enhance coordination, listening and intellectual skills. Popular options will include:
