American Airlines announces flights to 4 international destinations from DFW Airport

Starting in October, American now offers its new upgraded Flagship Suite business class to London Heathrow Airport in London; Brisbane Airport in Brisbane, Australia, and Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Cathay Pacific started making daily trips between Hong Kong International Airport and DFW Airport on Airbus A350-1000 aircraft in late October, according to a news release. The airline flew that route four times a week, which launched in April, according to previous reporting.

The Southlake Hotel rebrands to The Elmore Hotel

Renovations have been completed and a new name has been unveiled for a hotel in Southlake.

Coury Hospitality, based in Grapevine, announced the rebranding of The Southlake Hotel to The Elmore Hotel on Sept. 23 on a social media post. The property is managed by Coury Hospitality, which operates Hotel Vin in Grapevine and is owned by NewcrestImage.

New flights and destinations from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport started in early October from EVA Air and Frontier Airlines.

In addition, construction projects that are part of DFW Forward continue. DFW Forward is a $9 billion investment with more than 180 projects across the airport, according to a news release. One of the many projects is the construction of Terminal F, a $4 billion expansion.
