Grapevine Tower is now showcasing the Texas America250 exhibit to celebrate the United States semiquincentennial.
The free exhibit is available for viewing from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until March 3.

Texas America250 showcases historically significant Texas treasures from the state archives, according to a news release from the city of Grapevine. The exhibit reminds attendees of Spanish missions, the space race, the landscape and other parts of Texas culture.
“We are excited to bring this traveling exhibit to Grapevine,” said Leigh Lyons, the assistant executive director at the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, in a statement. “This is a great way for visitors of all ages to learn more about Texas’s role in U.S. history and explore some of our most treasured documents, photographs and artifacts.”

July 4, 2026, will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence, according to the Texas America250 website. The exhibit is traveling across 254 counties throughout 2026.
The Texas State Library and Archives Commission is also doing a statewide reading challenge alongside its traveling exhibit.
