Landmark Coffee opened Aug. 30, serving craft coffees and cold brews.
Owners Brady and Whitney Johnson had a conditional use permit for the new business approved by the Grapevine City Council during a May 20 meeting. The Grapevine residents have experience in the business with a hotel-based shop at Texican Court hotel in the Las Colinas area of Irving, Best Friend Coffee at The Domain in Austin and a mobile coffee business that operates in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, according to previous reporting.
Opened in the former location of Bull Lion Winery, which relocated next door, the Johnsons focused on the building’s past as a gas station. Renovations included a replica vintage gas pump. A social media post by Brady Johnson said the business had lines out the door during the grand opening throughout the day.
