Hoppin’ Brands will open its self-pour beer and food dining experience on Oct. 12 in Grapevine.

The details

The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company announced the opening date on social media. The post states the beer house will be inside the The Shops at Grapevine Mills Crossing shopping center.

Hoppin’ uses a self-serve technology that is linked to a wristband, which is connected to a debit or credit card, according to Scotty Kent, Hoppin’ Brands director of marketing and public relations. The cost is determined by the ounce and a pre-loaded amount for two or three drinks is loaded to the wristband, Kent said.

“We see it can be slightly intimidating [to self-pour,] so we make sure our staff is helping everyone out and make them feel comfortable,” Kent said. “Our atmosphere is fun for everyone.”

The Grapevine location will have a full cocktail bar and kitchen, which will feature food items such as:
  • Burgers
  • Flatbreads
  • Texas poutine
  • Salads
  • Street tacos
  • Weekend brunch
What else?

The space can be rented out for private events and the menu is available for catering, Kent said. The location will offer a mix of mass-produced beer, craft beer and locally-brewed beer, along with a variety of cocktail drinks, Kent said. A Fort Worth location opened earlier this summer.

Hoppin’ will move into the location that was slated to hold Tapville Social.
