After originally slated to open in summer 2022, delays in construction have lead to an opening in August or September, CEO Joseph Tota said.
He said the business is in the final phase of construction with signage being added soon and a planned opening coming after getting final approval for occupancy.
Tapville is a full-service restaurant and bar, according to a news release from the company. The restaurant will have indoor and patio seating as well as a self-serve beer and wine wall. There will be 42 taps of beer and eight for wine, Tota said. Tapville will serve daily cocktail flights along with food items, such as Buffalo chicken dip, short rib sandwiches, Cajun pasta and avocado toast. There are other Tapville Social locations in Texas—Frisco, The Woodlands and San Antonio—but Grapevine will be the first restaurant model.
The company was founded in Chicago in 2016 and has 22 locations nationwide. www.tapvillesocial.com
