Construction of Hugo’s Invitados is underway, and an event venue space will be coming in next door in Westlake as well.

The business was originally set to open in early 2024. The business held an event on March 28—providing samples of food and drinks—and owner Mark Hulme announced a new opening date.

According to the company website, every dish is handcrafted from nutritious, sustainable ingredients that are always fresh, never fried, and made to fit every diet and taste. Next to Hugo’s Invitados will be Waterstone Hall, an event venue.

Hospitality Inspirado, which operates Hugo’s Invitados, will also run the Copa Club, which will open later this spring.

“We are so excited to serve this community, and it has been a joy to get to know you guys,” said Hulme, who is co-founder and owner of Hospitality Inspirado. “We are pumped to have both of these venues, and maybe Mike Beaty [Entrada developer] will let us have a third one. We appreciate the finer things in life, and I hope we deliver.”

Reservations for Waterstone Hall are being taken for August and beyond. Hulme said the event space will be between the two restaurants and will have the availability to have food for big events that have between 200 and 400 guests.
