Following nearly $7 million in renovations, the Metroport Chamber held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 30 for the former Marriott Hotel and its new restaurant, House of Toro Chophouse.
The hotel was rebranded and named after the late Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, who designed the original property, according to a news release from Grapevine-based Coury Hospitality.

What they’re saying
“The Ricardo Marriott represents an exciting new chapter for this property,” said Andrew Casperson, president of Coury Hospitality, in a news release. “This transformation goes beyond a renovation. It reflects an intentional effort to honor the building’s architectural significance while introducing a renewed identity that is bold, design-driven, and reflective of Westlake’s evolving character.”
