A new pet store, Paws on Main, opened its doors in Grapevine in early February.
The business offers upscale treats and dog food, salesperson Rita Yau said. Paws on Main also sells dog birthday cakes, cookies made in-house, and other dog and cat items, including necklaces, toys and collars.
Co-owner Terry Turner said the store tries to use local vendors and sell Texas-made products.
“We have things here for cat people [and] dog people, and we have things that are just fun,” Turner said. “It's a little bit of a boutique.”
