Founded 26 years ago in Lewisville and serving the Argyle community for the past 13 years, New Song School of the Arts is owned by Heather and Todd Parks. Their newest campus is located inside Southlake Baptist Church and is open on Thursdays.
New Song offers private lessons in various instruments—including piano, voice, guitar, percussion, strings, woodwinds and brass—as well as theater in several mediums, according to previous reporting.
Todd Parks calls New Song an "elevated fine art experience" in North Texas.
He said the company is excited to showcase “The Standard is Excellence” within the school in Southlake.
To celebrate the opening, a "Frozen" Christmas event will be held Dec. 11, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with photo opportunities with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. It is a free event for the community, according to a Facebook post.
