Colleyville’s Christmas gift card program is in full swing for the 2025 holiday season.

The first round of $35 gift cards were delivered to residents’s homes Nov. 12, said Chelsea Rose, Colleyville’s community engagement and economic development director.

What’s happening?

Residents will receive a second $35 gift card in their mailbox Dec. 12, Rose said. The gift card can be presented at participating Colleyville businesses for payment. The businesses will then receive reimbursement from the city at the end of the program for every gift card used at their shop, per Colleyville’s website.

Colleyville residents can receive additional $35 gift cards by participating in the city’s business bingo game. Those who wish to play can pick up a bingo card at the Colleyville Center at 5301 Riverwalk Drive through Jan. 9, according to the city's website.

Shoppers are required to buy from the Colleyville businesses on the card and keep the receipts to turn in with the bingo card. Participants who shop five businesses in a row, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally, will receive a $35 gift card. Those who shop at all 25 businesses listed on the bingo card will receive two $35 gift cards.

Those playing business bingo can return their receipts at the Colleyville Center from Dec. 15 to Jan. 9. Receipts must be dated from Nov. 24, 2025 to Jan. 9, 2026, according to Colleyville’s website.

The Ministerial Alliance will also give out $50 Colleyville Cares gift cards to families in need this holiday season, per Colleyville’s website.

Colleyville City Council approved the gift card program for this year at its Sept. 16 meeting.

The impact

Since the start of Colleyville’s gift card program in 2018, the city has given $5.05 million to businesses who have participated, according to a monthly economic development forum presentation from Nov. 20. Colleyville also launched its restaurant-only gift card program in 2024, which has given $253,785 to participating restaurants since its start.
