GreenPal expanded its services to the city in May, according to a press release. Similar to the rideshare app Uber, GreenPal connects homeowners with local, prescreened vendors for their lawn care needs. Once a homeowner lists their lawn with their service date and needs, lawn care professionals bid on the properties based on aerial images and lawn details provided.
Homeowners can then select their vendor based on their ratings, reviews and prices, the release stated.
“After successfully launching in 250 other markets, we are excited to help homeowners in Grapevine find reliable, safe and local lawn care,” co-founder Gene Caballero said in the release.
Over 1 million homeowners are signed up and using GreenPal. Of those homeowners, more than 30% of GreenPal customers are over the age of 60 as the app provides safety and convenience, the release stated.
Based in Nashville, GreenPal operates across the United States and recently expanded to Keller, Lewisville and Plano.
