Drivers passing through Frisco will see multiple lane and U-turn closures from Sept. 22-26 along Dallas Parkway and Dallas North Tollway.

The closures will begin daily at 9 a.m. and last until 3 p.m., according to a social media post from the city of Frisco.

The details

On Dallas North Tollway, the north- and southbound left lane from PGA Parkway to SH 121 will close.

Dallas Parkway will see the following closures:
  • Southbound left lane from US 380 to PGA Parkway
  • Southbound left lane at PGA Parkway
  • South-to-north U-turn lane at PGA Parkway
  • north- and southbound left lane at Panther Creek Parkway
  • North-to-south U-turn lane at Panther Creek Parkway
  • Southbound left lane from Eldorado Parkway to Main Street
  • Southbound left lane from Lebanon Road to John Hickman Parkway
  • North- and southbound left lane from Gaylord Parkway to Warren Parkway
  • South-to-northbound U-turn lane at Warren Parkway
  • North-to-south U-turn lane at Gaylord Parkway
  • Northbound left lane from SH 121 to Gaylord Parkway
  • South-to-north U-turn lane at SH 121
The context


The closures are part of work by the North Texas Tollway Authority to widen Dallas North Tollway in Frisco. The $157.3 million project is meant to expand the tollway to four lanes in each direction in anticipation of projected population growth. The project is expected to be completed in late 2025.
