1. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Centennial

Baylor Scott & White Centennial is a Level III trauma facility and Level II NICU use facility. It offers 118 beds. The medical center features various medical services, including but not limited to allergy and immunology, digestive diseases, diabetes care, neuroscience, women’s health, scoliosis care and primary care.

The facility recently opened a labor and delivery triage unit, which provides specialized care for expectant mothers that require urgent treatment, according to Baylor officials. The new triage offers three patient rooms equipped with advanced medical equipment. Patients who require emergency care are able to be placed in the unit rather than being screened in the emergency department or directly admitted to the labor & delivery unit, officials said.

The Baylor medical center does not have a trauma level but does have a Level II NICU designation. It has 118 beds available. The center specializes in women’s services.

The medical center also offers a variety of services for digestive care, pain management, sleep disorders, total joint replacement, weight loss and spine care.3. Texas Health Frisco

Texas Health Frisco is a Level III Trauma Center with 93 beds with 1,000 physicians and 300 nurses on staff. The medical center offers services for back and spine, digestive health, neurosciences and sports medicine.

Texas Health Hospital Frisco will soon begin the build out of its seventh floor, a $25 million project that will add 30 new patient rooms to the hospital’s medical/surgical unit. The renovation, which is part of the hospital’s planned growth since opening in 2019, is expected to be completed in fall 2026. Patient care will not be impacted by the new construction.


The hospital also named a new president Tiffany Northern in March.4. Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center

Frisco’s Scottish Rite for Children specializes in orthopedic care and sports medicine exclusively for children. The campus also has public walking and running trails. The medical center offers general orthopedic care, a fracture clinic with walk-in hours and rheumatology services. The hospital features on-site radiology, a physical therapy gym and a lab dedicated to Movement Sciences.

Scottish Rite offers several orthopedic services, including scoliosis, club foot, hand differences, hip disorders, sports injuries and more. The medical center also offers sports nutrition, psychology, occupational therapy, clinical care and child life services.5. Medical City Frisco

Medical City Frisco is a 98-bed acute care hospital with a Level III Trauma Center, cardiovascular, neurological, spine, orthopedics and other services. The hospital achieved accreditation through the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program for the third time, according to a May news release.
