Parvin Branch Underpass
Project: A new hike and bike trail will connect to the existing Parvin Branch Trail and pass under Preston Road and U.S. Highway 380, according to the city’s website.
Update: The project is currently under construction, which is set to cost nearly $1.5 million and be paid for by the city and other sources.

Project: A new $2.5 million neighborhood park that could feature playgrounds and a basketball court is being built. The money for the park is coming from the city.
Update: After holding community meetings to iron out the vision for the park, the design phase for the project ended in 2024 and it is currently under construction.

Project: A park that was built in 2010 is receiving a refresh. A 2023-24 review of Frisco’s parks found Beaver’s Bend was in need of reinvestment and improvement. Costs of the project are still to be estimated.

Project: A $13 million park expansion is on the horizon in the city.
Update: The city, which will pay for the project, is expanding this south Frisco park. The park currently includes bike and hike trails, as well as fields for soccer, baseball and softball. The project is still in the planning stage.

Project: Home to the city’s skate park, this community park is receiving a $15 million, 74-acre expansion from the city. It could include multiuse sports fields.
