The charter school campus would house kindergarten through fifth graders, and it will open for the 2025-26 school year. The campus is designed to nurture and inspire young learners in the state-of-the-art facility, according to a LPS news release.
The new campus is located to serve the rapidly growing west Frisco community. It will feature innovative learning spaces and technology, and the campus will offer a curriculum designed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and social-emotional skills, preparing students for success in their educational journeys and beyond, according to the release.
“We are delighted to expand our Leadership Prep School community with a campus dedicated to elementary education,” said Stacy Alton, Superintendent of Leadership Prep School District, in the release. “Our goal is to empower each student to reach their fullest potential academically and as future leaders. This new campus embodies our vision for education, where learning is a personalized, engaging, and inspiring experience.”
The campus will offer a variety of specialized programs, including Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math integration, project-based learning, and a strong emphasis on character and leadership education.
District officials will host an open house event on Jan. 23 where prospective families can tour the new facility and meet the teaching staff.
