Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

The eatery serves cooked-to-order steakburgers, all-beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout the day, according to a news release. The restaurant spans over 2,500 square feet and seats 52 guests, with additional seating on the patio. The eatery offers drive-thru service, and diners at the restaurant can also order through the Freddy’s website and app.Coming soon

Hurtado Barbecue


The menu will include brisket plates, beef ribs, turkey, house-made sausage, burgers and sandwiches. A brunch menu will also be offered with pork belly butt on French toast, fish and brisket, said owner, founder and Argyle resident Brandon Hurtado.Josefina’s Cocina

Restaurateur Fernando Barrera, who owns Latin Deli in Dallas, is set to open Josefina’s Cocina in Richardson in November, Barrera said. The menu, which features breakfast, lunch and dinner options, will include nachos, fajitas, chilaquiles, enchiladas, salads and more. Breakfast items, including omelettes, crepes and waffles, will be served all day. The drink menu will feature fruit margaritas, desert cocktails, cervezas, tequilas and mezcales.

Flying Fish

Flying Fish is slated to open a second Plano location in the first quarter of 2026, a company news release states. The fast-casual seafood eatery serves a variety of seafood options, including crab, oysters, shrimp, fried catfish and fish fillets.Roma's Italian Bistro

Roma's Italian Bistro is a family-owned Italian restaurant that serves a full Italian menu with sauces made from scratch. Menu items include pizza, with toppings such as Hawaiian, barbecue and Margherita. Dishes also include garlic bread, pasta, minestrone soup, salads, calzones, sub sandwiches and seafood. Desserts include a cannoli pastry, tiramisu, cheesecake and chocolate cake.Desi Local Food


The restaurant will serve dishes featuring flavors of Hyderabad and South India, including bagara rice, veg kurma and butter-garlic chicken.
