Daytrip Diner
The former owners of Morning Edition Cafe in Flower Mound have opened Daytrip Diner in Grapevine, moving into the former location of Waffle Way. Daytrip Diner is open daily from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The breakfast menu includes items such as corned beef hash and eggs, chicken fried steak and eggs, pancake, skillets and more. For lunch, offerings include salads, sandwiches and cheeseburgers.

The pizzeria is now serving New York-style pizza in Roanoke. The pizzeria serves big slices made with fresh ingredients and hand-tossed dough, Gjekaj said. Pizza options include BBQ chicken, margarita, eggplant pizza, veggie, meat lovers and alfredo.

Hurtado Barbecue’s permanent food truck opened at Oak Highlands Brewery, according to a social media post from the business. The local barbecue chain’s menu includes various smoked meats, birria tacos, Mexican street corn and tres leches banana pudding.
