Daytrip Diner

The former owners of Morning Edition Cafe in Flower Mound have opened Daytrip Diner in Grapevine, moving into the former location of Waffle Way. Daytrip Diner is open daily from 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The breakfast menu includes items such as corned beef hash and eggs, chicken fried steak and eggs, pancake, skillets and more. For lunch, offerings include salads, sandwiches and cheeseburgers.Soulful Street Bites

The restaurant offers soul food and Southern barbecue dishes, such as oxtails, pot roast, fried ribs and brisket mac and cheese.Enea's Pizzeria

The pizzeria is now serving New York-style pizza in Roanoke. The pizzeria serves big slices made with fresh ingredients and hand-tossed dough, Gjekaj said. Pizza options include BBQ chicken, margarita, eggplant pizza, veggie, meat lovers and alfredo.Stonebridge Diner


The restaurant was opened by the owners behind Brothers Pizza, which closed in July after serving McKinney for more than 20 years. Stonebridge Diner serves a variety of breakfast dishes including omelets, pancakes and crepes. Its menu also includes lunch dishes such as burgers, sandwiches and salads.Bondi Bowls

The menu features açai bowls, smoothies, lemonade, shaved ice, locally sourced coffee and more, the company website states. Menu items are vegan, organic, gluten free friendly, dairy free, plant based and refined sugar free.Hurtado Barbecue

Hurtado Barbecue’s permanent food truck opened at Oak Highlands Brewery, according to a social media post from the business. The local barbecue chain’s menu includes various smoked meats, birria tacos, Mexican street corn and tres leches banana pudding.
