Frisco’s Planning and Zoning Commission approved a conveyance plat for North Fields, creating six lots from two tracts of land and dedicating easements for development. The plat includes plans for 964 urban living units and three parking garages on about 152 acres, according to a Planning and Zoning Commission memo.
The conveyance plat aligns with the development’s preliminary site plan, approved by Planning and Zoning on Sept. 13. The development’s site plan and facade plan are still under review, according to the city of Frisco’s website.
In 2020, Frisco City Council members approved rezoning to develop more than 2,100 acres of the Fields land after it was purchased in 2018. The commission approved six changes to amend the zoning of the Fields development at its June 28 meeting.
The amendments included removing the public park that was planned for The Preserve village and adding three more types of signage to the development.
