The second phase of the 30-acre park system at Frisco Station was completed this September.

Canyon East brings more than one acre of trails and parks connectivity to the 242-acre mixed-use project along the Dallas North Tollway and John Hickman Parkway. This phase connects to The Bend, a 1.3-acre park, and coincided with the opening of The Cadence at Frisco Station, a 322-unit luxury apartment home community located at 4160 Gridiron Road.

“Canyon East’s beautiful park setting and access to trails continues our commitment to providing expansive greenspace within the Frisco community,” Josh Goad, the land development manager at development company Hillwood, said in a statement. “Thoughtfully planned to showcase the surrounding environment, Frisco Station’s 30-acre park system seamlessly blurs the edges between wide open spaces and a vibrant urban environment.”

Frisco Station launched in 2015 and has since built more than 440,000 square feet of office space and 633 units of mid- and high-rise apartments. With Canyon East complete, Frisco Station now has nearly six acres of walkable open space and trail connectivity, according to the development.
