A 2.3-acre city park is in the works for Frisco Square following an approval by the Frisco Planning & Zoning Commission.

The commission approved a preliminary site plan for Park at Frisco Square, which is to be located on the southeast corner of Jacobs Street and Page Street, at a May 26 meeting.

The park plans to have a winding ribbon pathway, shade pavilion, event lawn, interactive water feature, railroad feature and rain garden, according to the preliminary site plan.
