The department store recently opened one of two new stores introducing a fresh concept called Belk Market in Frisco, said Holly Richter, Belk vice president of corporate communications and associate experience. Customers can expect new items across men’s, women’s and kids’ apparel, as well as shoes, handbags, accessories, home décor and fine jewelry.2. Mio Gusto Italian Cuisine

The restaurant offers antipasta dishes, including house-made beef meatballs, baked clams and bruschetta, along with salads and soups. Pasta dishes include lasagna, ziti al forno, penne alla vodka and spaghetti, according to its online menu. Mio Gusto also serves various Italian plates such as marsala, piccata and branzino, among other chicken and seafood dishes. Various pizzas and wine options are also available on the menu.3. Potobox


The store is located on the lower level of the mall, in the Macy’s wing. The photo-centric business offers the following services: photo booth: an immersive experience featuring frame options and instant photo prints; and photo zone: customers’ phone snapshots will be transformed into vivid prints. 4. Texas Tabletop Society


The business will be a family-friendly space and feature a growing library of more than 1,000 modern board games, which Bradshaw said is one of the largest open collections in the area. The business will have premium tables, comfortable seating and a welcoming atmosphere designed for families, friends and gamers of all experience levels. 11. IM=X Pilates and Fitness


The fitness studio has completed renovations at their Frisco location, owner Nancy Lawrence said in an email. Lawrence purchased the studio on Sept. 2. IM=X features Pilates classes as well as strength training, boot camps, yoga and Zumba. The studio has been painted, redecorated and reorganized. Since renovating, IM=X has doubled the amount of classes on their schedule, and they now offer one-on-one sessions in their new private training room.12. KidsUnited

The youth soccer program that uses sports to help children hit developmental milestones, celebrated its first year in north Plano, across the tollway from Stonebriar Mall, in November. The location, owned by Naureen Mithani and Samira Kamrudin, is the first KidsUnited franchise in Texas.Closures


13. Harper Row Home


The home goods store closed. Harper Row Home has sold furniture, home decor and gifts from her store in Frisco since 2019, but she said the changing retail market led her to reconsider in-person sales. Once the move-out is complete, Harper-Hirosky said the next step is streamlining her online presence to make digital sales as easy as possible. She plans to overhaul her existing website in early 2026.
