3. Belk
The department store is opening one of two new stores introducing a fresh concept called Belk Market in Frisco, said Holly Richter, Belk vice president of corporate communications and associate experience. Customers can expect new items across men’s, women’s and kids’ apparel, as well as shoes, handbags, accessories, home décor and fine jewelry.

9. Makers Gym
The coworking space team cited several reasons for closure, including rising operational costs and the need for a larger creative market, according to a Nov. 25 newsletter sent by the group. A new Makers Gym location is being explored with new opportunities for creative spaces, the newsletter stated.
