Council also approved a renewal of an agreement with Lewisville ISD to share the cost for 14 police officers that will provide security to campuses within Flower Mound, according to town documents.
The specifics
The Northshore Park project covers the replacement of the existing play equipment with a new set, according to town documents. The new equipment will cost $276,619 and is funded through the sales tax dedication to parks projects, per the adopted 2024-25 budget.
The cost only covers the new playground equipment and its installation and does not include planned turf replacement or the removal of the existing play structure, per town documents.
Council members will consider a contract for the turf replacement at a future meeting.
