Curry Up Now, an Indian fast casual restaurant, is expected to open in Flower Mound in mid-June, Senior Public Relations Specialist Laron Roland said.

The restaurant will serve Curry Up Now favorites like tikka masala burritos, deconstructed samosas, Indian street foods and more, according to a news release.

The Flower Mound location will be owned by Samy Kilaru and Kiki Khajuria.

"We’ve loved this brand for a long time and have been waiting for the right opportunity to bring it to our community,” Kilaru said. “The food speaks for itself — it’s bold, unexpected and fun — but what really drew us in was the energy. Curry Up Now creates an experience that feels celebratory from the moment you walk in.”

Curry Up Now was started as a food truck in 2009 by husband and wife duo, Akash and Rana Kapoor. It has since expanded with the Flower Mound location marking the third restaurant in Texas and the 20th across the United States.
