WoundX is now offering services to patients at their brick-and-mortar location in Argyle, Office Administrator Madison Caston said.

The details

Though WoundX has been providing mobile care in Argyle since 2023, the opening of its brick-and-mortar location has added services, including:
  • Therapies that harness the body’s natural healing power to repair and restore tissue function
  • Restorative treatments designed to enhance natural beauty, revitalize the body and support long-term wellness
  • Care for patients recovering from surgery
  • Evaluation and treatment for wound-related and systemic infections
WoundX also hired a full-time medical doctor, owner and nurse practitioner Audrey Morris said.

The history

WoundX has provided mobile wound care services for patients directly in their homes, including helping patients recovering from surgery, managing chronic wounds or navigating mobility challenges, Morris said.

“A lot of these patients can't take a two-hour drive because they have extreme edema or blood clots,” she said.

The mobile services cover an area from Denton County to Forney, including McKinney, Frisco, Denton and Prosper, Morris said.

“There's always been a need [for this service],” she said. “It's been an untapped market for years. I was actually the first mobile provider in Texas and the second in the nation.”
